The Phantom Pulse is tended primarily by siblings who share a love for literature, art, and all things spooky. Whether from a shared childhood summer of spectral bug encounters or just the shadowy thoughts that keep us up at night, each of us brings our own haunted experiences to this endeavor.
The editors—Mike, Jess, and Kat—each maintain their own writing habit in speculative fiction and started the magazine as a way to help bolster the contemporary horror community with more publication opportunities for those writing in the field.

Kat is a queer writer and streamer with a love for all things odd. She is sustained only by coffee, Halloween candy, and stories that scare her socks off.
